Journal of Extreme Anthropology has published now several pieces through its OnlineFirst system, all of which will later appear in its special issues. The readers can already enjoy a brilliant article by Rina Arya on the distinction between abjection and disgust from our forthcoming special issue Theses on Faeces: Encounters with the Abject (click here to access the PDF). In the same issue a translation from German will appear, also already available, of two chapters from Florian Werner's exciting book Dark Matter: The History of Shit (transl. Tereza Kuldova), click here to access PDF. Moreover, we also present you the short but iconic excerpt of Slavoj Žižek`s thoughts on toilets and ideology (click here for PDF). All texts in the first special issue are accompanied by great photographs by Lill-Ann Chepstow-Lusty. And finally, a book review of the very important book The Rise of the Right: English Nationalism and the Rise of the Working Class by Simon Winlow, Steve Hall and James Treadwell (by Tereza Kuldova) is also available, and will appear as part of the second special issue on Extreme Masculinities (click here for PDF of the book review).
